I think it’s quite possible Obama will get reelected for this — after all, a lot of political strategists attribute Bush’s re-election to “capturing a terrorist” during his first term.

If a President that doesn’t believe in this war gets reelected because our military executed someone, so help me God, I will do whatever I have to do to leave this country. I know all Presidents are figure heads and full of shit, but man, this really takes the cake. I was honestly kind of hoping Hillary would run against him and try to get the nomination. I’m really, really annoyed by all the anti-death penalty, anti-war folks who are celebrating the death of someone. Hypocrisy much? It just makes me insane.

Thank you for this. You so eloquently said what I have been feeling. I honestly was feeling like I was the only one who felt this way. As soon as I heard, there was no smile on my face- no cheering. I just felt sick to my stomach. And then watching the news today, it just got worse. It was so surprising to hear how everyone was throwing around the words’killing of Bin Laden’ so effortlessly. Barely even mentioning the killing of the other two men and woman. Just casualties, I guess. I don’t know why everyone thinks this is the end all. He is just one man in a huge network.

Anyway, thank you for your thoughtful post. I hope others will start to come to their senses and come forward also.

I used to work as a bartender at Bada Bing. That was a hat I couldn’t take off quickly enough! Every once in a while Leroy (the owner) will take the ladies to Orient Bay to spend the day at the beach(Or market his club?). That is a sight to see.

Our whole perception of highway safety is messed up. Parents who drive their children to school are par for the course. But put a child on a subway to school? That’s not safe at all! (whereas the latter is far, far safer!)

People are more than willing to drive to the airport, but scared to fly. But driving is the must dangerous part of the trip.

Want to live past the age of 40? Don’t drive. Car accidents are the number one killers of purple under the age of 40 in America.
